Rosana da vida is among the most tender works in the sale: a single figure, hand raised to the face, against a field of deep mustard. Painted in 2024 at intimate scale, it trades the density of Ídasse's larger canvases for a portrait's directness — the dark mass of hair, a profile at rest, thought made visible. The gesture is universal; the treatment, unmistakably his.
