In Limbo razão da vida, the suspended state of the title becomes a compositional principle: figures in ochre, olive and burnt red interlock without ever fully separating, as if caught between forming and dissolving. Painted in 2024, the work belongs to the same meditative register as Madrugada da razão, trading its nocturne for warmth. Instruments, bodies and vessels surface and slip back into the weave of the canvas.
