Toques e Sensibilidade — Touches and Sensibility — belongs to an earlier chapter of Ídasse's practice, painted a full decade before his current series and already marking the territory his mature work would claim. The title speaks of contact: not only the physical act of touching, but the receptive intelligence that touch demands — the capacity to feel form, weight, presence.

In oil on canvas, Ídasse weaves figuration and abstraction — bodies not fully rendered, surfaces that hold sensation rather than description. The palette carries the warmth and ochres of Mozambique, grounded in earth and light. This is painting that locates meaning in the space between subject and object, between the hand that touches and the surface touched.
Sold unframed unless otherwise stated. Bidding 16 – 29 October 2026. Viewing at the Leilosoc Art Gallery, Praça Conde de Agralongo, Braga, from the public opening on 16 October, daily 15:00–21:00.
